Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MyFinanceLens website and web application at myfinancelens.com (the "Service"), operated by My Finance Lens, a sole proprietor based in Telangana, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The account holder must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. Children aged 7 to 17 may use the Service only through an account created by a parent or legal guardian, who consents on their behalf and supervises their use, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a family or household, you confirm you have permission to enter their financial information.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must give accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• Tell us immediately at support@myfinancelens.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. What the Service is — and is not

MyFinanceLens is a record-keeping and planning tool. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we are not a bank, NBFC, broker or adviser. We do not hold, transfer or invest your money. Calculations, projections, insights and any AI-assisted suggestions are estimates for your own planning and may be inaccurate. Always verify important figures and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• The core Service is free. Premium features are sold as a monthly or annual subscription at the prices shown on our Pricing page, in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time from your account's billing screen. Access to Premium continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app. Price changes apply from your next renewal.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or money laundering.
• Upload other people's financial data without their permission.
• Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt our systems or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Upload malicious files or content that infringes someone else's rights.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the financial data you enter or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate the Service for you. You can delete your data at any time from your account, or request a copy by emailing support@myfinancelens.com.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security or reasons beyond our control.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the law. You may close your account at any time; deletion removes your stored financial records as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for financial decisions you take using the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
